Northstream Analytic is a professional services firm specialising in modelling, data science, economics and strategy, and communications.

The Northstream Analytic team brings together over fifty years combined experience in helping governments and businesses deal with market and commercial risk, navigate economic and policy and uncertainty, and communicate with their stakeholders. Our messages are backed up by deep analysis using sophisticated data analytics, modelling including economic models (CGE, Input-Output and statistical), detailed engineering models, data analysis software, surveys, research, corporate financial modelling, and GIS.

At our heart is helping companies and governments small and large, businesses, peak bodies and investors, to make the best decisions based on the best data, analysis, and research, and to bring their stakeholders with them. We are passionate about economic and social development, and unlocking the vast potential of Australia’s regions.

Our edge is that we not only use state of the art data analytics, modelling and communications strategies, we are real people who have worked in real businesses, from small business to large corporations, and have experienced first hand the impacts of market risk, cost pressures, government policies, regulations and macroeconomic shocks. Directors

Simone Pregellio – Managing Director. Simone brings over 25 years experience in corporate communications, strategy, policy and governance across some of Australia’s largest corporate names.

Simone has worked with Jetstar, AMP, Moelis Australia, IPH Australia and Australian Rugby Union in senior communications and strategic roles. As a consultant, Simone has assisted a wide range of corporates, governments, think tanks and peak bodies on strategy formulation, research, policy advice, communications strategy and execution. Simone holds a degree in Business and Communications from Queensland University of Technology, and postgraduate qualifications in Change Management from UNSW.

Cameron O’Neill – Non Executive Director. Cameron brings 25 years experience working with corporates and governments on resolving complex issues using modelling, data, research and analysis tools, such as economic and engineering models, data analysis software, and GIS.

As a consultant with ACIL Allen, Deloitte and Access Economics, he worked with governments and corporates on large energy and infrastructure investments, and, energy and climate, water, defence and resources policy. In his corporate roles he has worked in leadership across finance, treasury, ESG and risk, for organisations including ANZ, Morgan Stanley and CDC Data Centres.

Cameron holds qualifications in economics and finance, certifications in power system modelling and design, and a PhD in modelling and data analysis (published) from the Australian National University. He is a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ, a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and is a serving member of the ADF Reserves.
